Who we are

Conect2Tech Local is operated by Cerebrix LLC. This notice explains how information is used for equipment listings, work requests, messaging, optional subscriptions and safety features.

Age and contact

Conect2Tech is for adults aged 18 and older only. Do not create or use an account if you are under 18. We require an explicit age declaration and acceptance of the current terms; this is not identity or age verification. An account does not establish professional licensing or eligibility to perform regulated work. Contact support if you are under 18 and already have an account so we can help close it.

Do not send passwords, identity documents or sensitive financial information in your initial message. Account ownership may need to be verified before private information is disclosed or deleted.

Accounts and content

We use your email, phone number, account identifier, authentication and session information for sign-in, verification, recovery and security. Profiles may include a name, photo, roles and qualifications. Profiles and published posts are visible to other users. Qualifications are self-reported unless explicitly identified as verified. Do not put private contact details or home addresses in public text or photos.

Public posts show city and ZIP code. Exact pickup or service addresses and private instructions are restricted according to the workflow, such as to the owner and a selected job applicant. Drafts are not public posts. Conversation participants can read messages and attachments. Authorized support or safety access may be used to investigate reports or resolve issues. Messaging is not end-to-end encrypted.

Optional AI and address assistance

Tapping Identify item with AI sends the selected item photo through our server to Google Gemini. It is not triggered automatically. Review suggestions before applying them. AI may be inaccurate and does not establish condition, authenticity, safety or value.

We resize the AI copy and remove image metadata before sending it. Do not submit identity documents, faces, private addresses or other sensitive information for item identification. The feature requires a configured paid Gemini service; it is disabled if that configuration has not been confirmed. Google processes requests under its applicable API terms, including limited retention for abuse prevention. This does not mean Google never retains the request.

To prevent repeated charges and abuse, we keep a private photo fingerprint, suggested text, attempt status and token counts for up to 30 days before scheduled cleanup. We do not create a separate permanent AI copy of your photo. Aggregate allowance counters are retained for up to 90 days before scheduled cleanup. Your original uploaded photo follows the normal content-retention rules.

Address suggestions send street-address text to Google Places as you type. Choose manual entry before typing if you do not want suggestions. Unit and access details in the separate field are not sent with that request. Selecting a result fills fields for you to review. We do not request or store precise Google coordinates for this feature. Older versions may offer an explicit Validate address action using Google Address Validation.

Service providers

Supabase provides account, database and media services; Resend delivers verification emails; Twilio delivers verification texts; Vercel hosts the website and API. Apple or Google processes subscription purchases. RevenueCat and our backend use your app account identifier and purchase/subscription information to provide and restore membership. We do not receive full payment-card details from store subscription purchases.

If you enable notifications, push tokens are used with Expo and the applicable Apple or Google push service to send alerts. Change permissions in device settings. Providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.

Connected services

When you enable an available connector, encrypted access credentials, selected destinations and explicitly chosen outbound content are used for the connection. Availability depends on provider permissions and account requirements. Disconnecting prevents new queued sends but does not delete content already accepted elsewhere. Assisted sharing requires you to finish posting in the destination service; returning to Conect2Tech does not prove publication. Copies shared elsewhere are subject to that service's controls and policies.

Optional marketing

Email me Cerebrix app news and promotions for its advertising services. Optional; unsubscribe at any time. This does not authorize selling my data or sharing private content with advertisers.

Marketing email is off by default and is not required for signup, paid membership, account recovery or other core features. If you opt in, we may use your email, name and membership status to send Cerebrix app updates and promotions for our services. We do not use private conversations, private addresses or AI photos to personalize marketing, and this consent does not authorize selling your data, third-party advertising audiences, marketing texts or messages through your connectors.

Turn marketing off in Settings & privacy or use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email. Withdrawal stops future marketing selection but not necessary security or account-service messages. We retain your choice, the notice version and consent/withdrawal timestamps while the account exists to honor and audit your preferences. Account deletion removes these preferences and their account-linked history.

Safety and retention

Operational records support troubleshooting, rate limits, fraud prevention and auditing. Access controls restrict private information. Reports and blocks help address misuse but cannot prevent every unsafe post or message.

Optional authenticator-app two-factor authentication is available in account security settings and is required for administrative access. Once enabled, protected app access requires the additional verification. Save your authenticator backup securely; do not share setup secrets or codes. Recovery requests require ownership checks and are not an automatic bypass. No security measure guarantees that a service is breach-proof.

We retain account and content data to provide the service while your account is active. When deletion is requested, new activity and saved social access are disabled, and eligible personal content and media are removed or pseudonymized by the deletion process. Open historical transactions or unresolved safety reports can require limited records to remain. Financial, moderation and audit records may be retained for reconciliation, security, disputes and applicable legal obligations. Backups and provider-held records may have separate retention cycles; deletion does not immediately erase every copy.

Your controls

You can edit your profile and posts, manage connected services, block/report members and change notification settings. Request deletion in Profile → Settings & privacy → Delete my account, or contact support if you cannot sign in. Deleting the app or account does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription. Cancel separately in the store's subscription settings.
